Intro!

 Hello everyone,

I have decided to enter into the world of blogging on behalf of Margaret Green Animal Rescue - Hoorah!  The main reason for this is that we have so many amazing things that happen at our three centres, every day, that I don't have time to write press releases about them, send them out and so on but I would love to share them and this seems like a great way to do it.

Conscisus - now living a very happy life with his new owner.

 Who are we?

For anyone that doesn't know about us - we are the oldest and largest animal welfare charity founded in Dorset. We have three centres: Lincoln Farm, near Bere Regis, where we look after Dorset's abused, neglected and unwanted dogs, then we have Church Knowle Animal Sanctuary and Visitor Centre, just behind Corfe Castle, where we rescue and rehabilitate cats, horses, sheep, rabbits, guinea pigs, goats and many, many more, and lastly we have Wingletang Rescue and Rehoming Centre, just outside of Tavistock, Devon, where we primarily look after cats and dogs. Have a look at the homepage of our website for the addresses of each centre.

We rescue and rehome over 1,000 animals to new, loving owners each year and 100% of all donations go directly to animal welfare.

Who am I?

I'm the Marketing Manager. I've only been in the role for three months after volunteering for nearly three years - cuddling cats, walking dogs and so on. I  am  absolutely delighted to be here.

I hope to keep you updated with my experiences of working for this fantastic rescue organisation and the journeys of the animals in their care.
